Pre-Weekend Thoughts

I've gained 4 pounds in the last month or so. 4 pounds may not be that much, but at this rate I'm going to barely be able to fit into my yoga pants come April. We are planning a little beachy vacation for spring break and I better lose those 4 devils before then, but I seriously can't seem to stop eating. Sugar and portion control starts ASAP..... as soon as I'm finished with this decadent banana Creamy.

Do you ever have those days where you look back and think, "What the heck was I thinking when I said that?!" I've had one of those days every day this week. I seem to be making a fool of myself repeatedly at work. Must be all that sugar.

I'm so proud of my hottie-pants-stud-muffin husband. He has lost somewhere around 25 pounds since Christmas. He gets up super duper early a several mornings each week (including Saturday, what a crazy) and plays basketball. He's lookin' goooooood people.

Murphy's new favorite trick is to grab a stick at the last possible second before coming inside. He's so dang sneaky and before we know it our carpet is covered in little chewed up splinters of wood.... everywhere! Sometimes I hate him.

I still don't understand Twitter... isn't it the same as your Facebook status?

Today I read that the average person laughs 15 times a day. Hogwash. I laugh 15 times an hour. I laugh at everything. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or if people think I'm constantly laughing hysterically and on my way to the looney bin.

Sometimes I miss my long hair. I do not regret cutting it, but my hair-do options have decreased by nearly 75%.

Oh yeah it's the weekend uh huh woopidy doo!

Because posts can be somewhat boring without a picture, and a picture of me each day would be a tad narcissistic, here is Murphy in his Sunday best.

Love that you have dressed Murphy up in a tie! I forget if I did a blog post on it, but I did a photo shoot of my dog and another dog that we were watching for the weekend in ties. It was magical. Glad I'm not the only one out there that gets a kick out of stuff like that!
Also, I feel you on the losing weight thing. I'm going on vacation in April and have lost 5 pounds, I wanted to be down 15 by now but just can't seem to push the will power through! My husband on the other hand loses weight in a snap. Not fair at all. We should protest.
PS with the twitter thing, I totally feel you. It's pretty much like facebook but you can't ever fit in all of the words that you want to. I usually get annoyed and just end up posting to my facebook instead.

See you just proved that theory of laughing wrong with that post. I must have laughed at least 15 times just reading that post and looking at that picture!! Have a great weekend!
