Our Saturday adventures took us to the Maples Trail Ogden Overlook. We didn't make it to the overlook, but that wasn't our goal anyway. I would have gladly spent the entire day on the misty mountain enjoying the smell of fall, crunchy leaves under our feet, and my little family running through tall grasses down muddy trails. Weekends are for exploring and we rarely care where we go, just as long as it's an adventure. I'm not a big quote person, but John Muir always speaks my language.
