The holidays are so exciting and magical again with a toddler, they were really lame there for a few years between the ages of 16 and 26. Beckett was beyond excited to take a wagon ride out to pick out our own pumpkins. He's not quite sure what this whole Halloween thing is about, but he knows he likes pumpkins, Grandma is making him a costume, and somehow the costume is related to getting candy.
About 5 days ago at the beginning of my 17th week I started to feel the baby kicking in there like little bursts of popcorn. Sometimes it even keeps me awake at night, but it's just a happy reminder that little Festus (as my Dad lovingly refers to our still genderless child) is healthy and having a party.
