Three things inspired me to take this picture: These self portraits, this video of a man who took a picture of himself everyday for twelve years, and several articles on iPhone photography including this one. In the past I thought "someone who takes self portraits" was a nice way of saying "someone who takes pictures of their boobage in the bathroom mirror while pulling a weird kiss/smile/duck face to post on Facebook". Now I am finding that taking self portraits is a great way to challenge myself and stretch my creativity.
