20 Random Facts About Myself

1. I don't like chocolate. Chocolate ice cream and hot chocolate are ok, but I would rather eat broccoli than actual chocolate. The only exception is the occasional Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, but it has to be one of the easter egg ones because those are mostly peanut butter.

2. Mark and I were engaged for six weeks.

3. I worked at Subway twice during college. Each time was for about a month before I realized I would rather be super poor and live off of ramen than smell like Subway all the time.

4. I brush my teeth 3 to 4 times a day. I keep a tooth brush at work and in my purse. Between the ages of 16 and 24 I overdosed by chewing a pack of gum a day and now I hate gum.... and I hate bad breath.

5. I'm the happiest when I'm doing something outdoors.

6. I go to bed around 9 every night so I can wake up at 5:15 and not feel like a zombie throughout the day.

7. I have never colored my hair.

8. When I think about raising a family my first thought is usually how fun it will be teaching my kids to longboard and snowboard.

9. I have filled over 20 journals.

10. I do all of my cleaning, grocery shopping, and laundry on the weekends so I don't have to worry about much when I get home from work.

11. If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my life it would be Zuppas. Soups, salads, and sandwiches never get old.

12. Mark and I really want to live in Oregon some day.

13. The scariest thing I've ever been through was being caught in a flash flood in Southern Utah. It's the only time I remember thinking I was going to die.

14. When I was younger I watched Sound of Music and Kindergarten Cop over and over and over again.

15. There are 3 things I eat every day: bananas, wheat thins, and ice cream.

16. I wish I loved to read. I started a very good book 2 months ago and I'm on page 60. I want to love reading, but I get instantly bored and fall asleep every time.

17. I despise taking naps. Each time I wake up from a nap I have what I imagine a hang over would feel like: nausea, head ache, grogginess, and grouchiness.

18. I feel like I could learn to do almost anything, but no matter how much practice and training I had I don't think I could ever sing well. When the vocal talents were being passed out I must have been in line for something else.

19. Once we have a yard I plan on getting another Ridgeback or a Malemute puppy.

20. I feel like I have traveled a lot, but I have never been out of the country. I have been to Canada and Tijuana, but I don't think those count.

So I've only ever been to Canada and Tijuana too and feel like I've traveled a lot. And I agree, Tijuana doesn't really count.

So I just gave you a little award on my blog, check it out!
