No Workout = Grouch Monster

Something happens inside me when I don't workout. My energy has nowhere to escape and it slowly begins to transform into something ugly. One or two days can go by and I can control the evil thing growing inside, but by day three it becomes too much to contain and the monster comes out. I become a crazy grouchy wild woman! Mark can see it coming and he practically ties my running shoes for me, fills my water bottle, and helps me out the door.

it's a good thing that you need to work out though. It's something I can't wait to get back to once I recover. You have no idea.

Also, kudos to your husband for helping hold you accountable.

seriously, you wrote this for me! hahaha, i am the worst when i skip a few workouts ... esp. after a horrible day at work. i come home and i suck. but if i have a horrible day and workout after work, i am perfectly fine! haha.

I do the same thing! Like today, I didn't workout because I was going to be super busy and just decided to do it tomorrow. It sucks to get back into the groove of it too!

Hi Jamie!

Thanks for visiting me and following along---I always love meeting new friends. :)

This post made me laugh, because I SO know what you mean! I actually picked a fight with my husband about a week ago (3 days since my last workout) before he calmly told me that (I) "need to get to the gym already." I'm sure you can attest that it's great to have a husband who knows you so well!

I also liked your previous post (C'est La Vie)...that is one of the beautiful things about marriage; you never have to go through anything alone. :)

It's nice to meet you!

Aloha,
Angie

That's kind of awesome, because I have no motivation to work out at all. I can feel it in my bones when it's been too long since I've done yoga though.
