AHHHH I feel so rejuvenated after a day of snowboarding and fresh powder! Last winter we were in St. George, which means we didn't have a winter. It did give us a chance to improve our tennis skills, but after 23 consecutive winters in my life it just seemed like something was missing. The winter before that was spent graduating from college, student teaching, planning a wedding, and therefore being too busy and too poor for lift tickets. This is the year we are going to snowboard, and snowboard like crazy!
We did get season passes to the canyons, but they don't open until December 10th (this is a very touchy subject among avid Canyons skiers). Knowing that there was beautiful snow and open resorts just waiting for us was killing me, we had to go! Now I feel like I can relax a little until The Canyons opens haha. Mark hasn't been too many times so I was expecting to spend the day on the bunny hill, but he rocked it! And it's a good thing because it snowed all day long so every run had fresh powder..... mmmmmmmm delicious.
I know you are probably tired of hearing how much we love snow and winter. If this is bothering you, you may not want to read my blog until May or so because I just can't help but talk about it! I wish I at least had some fun pictures to share, but I forgot my camera. There will be plenty of chances to get some this winter though!
