Puppy Love

Mark and I want a dog so bad! Probably almost as much as everyone else our age wants a baby. We didn't buy a house because we weren't sure how long we would be staying in St. George, but this new longing for a puppy thing is motivation to buy one because A. You can't have dogs where we live and B. We have a two bedroom apartment on the third floor with a 10x4 ft balcony. Probably not the ideal situation for a dog craving acres of cool grass, shady trees and chasing birds. I guess he could pretend. But I have been noticing an odd amount of people walking dogs around our complex. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but the girl living behind us happens to be found in the parking lot with this white fluffy dog most mornings. I'm guessing it isn't just a family friend she meets for early strolls before work, but that they are roommates..... the nerve.

I want a cute puppy that will grow up to be a huge cuddly sweet friend!

I absolutely do NOT want a tiny, sweater wearing, yappy barking, dog that fits in my purse. If we had a dog that lived in our apartment I'm afraid this would be the only option. No offense to anyone who has one of these..... but I'm looking for a dog to take hiking, camping, ride in the back of our truck, and protect me from Scary Larrys.
