New Job For The Hubbins!

I'm so proud of this guy! He starts a new job for Key Bank in Park City as the Customer Service Manager soon. Waaahooo! He works his bum off and deserves it!

In some ways this was bitter sweet. This is a rather long story, but I will just fill you in on the details. Our plan was to finally move away from Salt Lake, be closer to our jobs in Ogden and Bountiful, and buy a house. We've been looking at houses for months, and even put offers in on two. Each time it just didn't seem to work out right, and now I know it was for a reason.

We may both be commuting long distances, we can't buy a house, and can't get a dog. But I feel really good about things and we know it's for the best! Hopefully he can transfer in a year or so to a branch near Ogden and then I won't have to drive the drive of death anymore!

P.S. I hate the new design of my blog that took 400 hours to do. It's not me. New design coming after our weekend adventure.

I HATE when I spend hours on a redesign and then am unhappy with the end result. Congrats to hubby on the job!

How exciting for you and your hubs! Congrats. And redesign can be frustrating... but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end when you find something "you".

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Ooooo Jamie, I totally feel you! I am constantly spending 2, 3, 5 days on a new design just to simply HATE IT! So frustrating. Looking forward to seeing your new design! xo

Congratulations to your husband! Buying a house kind of went the same way for us. We kept finding houses we loved, putting offers on them, and then it just didn't work out. It all made sense though down the road and we are happy with where things ended up.

I have a terrible commute, too. I work in a city that is west of Portland and my husband works in a city that is East of Portland. We ended up finding a house somewhere in the middle, and made it work the best we could.

Congrats to him! I love park city! That is quite a commute for both of you though, and especially since they are in opposite directions!
