Hey Turkey

While sitting alone eating a turkey avocado sandwich and giant blackberry shake I thought about a few funny things....

I just bought my first pair of skinny jeans. I can't believe it either.
Why is it called a pair of pants? Is each pant leg considered one pant? People often buy just one pant, so when you buy one for each leg you call it a "pair of pants" I guess. Shirts have two sleeves. Why don't we call a shirt a "pair of sleeves"?

Mark asked me to scratch his back while we were watching a movie. I said no because I had just cut my nails and I went a little bit too short. Maybe I'm the only one this happens to, but when I cut them too short everything I touch gives me fingernails-on-a-chalk-board chills. As a joke I said if he could find something else for me to use I would do it. Mark came back to the couch with a big spoon thing made for serving pasta. And I scratched his back with it. Don't worry I won't serve you pasta with it.  Looking back this seems rather hilarious and ridiculous, but in the moment it seemed normal and like any other night.

It's funny that my blog stats show a large amount of traffic from people Googling "Is it ok to pinch my kids" or "Pinching punishments". I guess it's from when I wrote this post.

I'm super duper excited to do my first wedding pictures this weekend. Unless it keeps snowing. Bad snow.

A few nights ago the power went out at 6. Because there wasn't much to do we laid down in bed to chat. Next thing I know it's midnight. Mark feels like he's had an entire night's sleep so he's up and about. I brushed my teeth and went back to bed. Nothing like 13 hours of rest before work. I've never felt so great!

THE perfect post =) I love it!

I would be like The Man -- if I slept for 6 hours and then magically woke up, I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep haha

I've always wondered that about pants, so funny!
