Warning: Due to loneliness, an unusually large amount of free time, and a sugar high from eating cereal and sherbet every meal for the past three days, the following post may be very lengthy and random. Please feel free to discontinue reading at any point.
Thursday Mark and I received the news that his Uncle RJ was killed in an accident while working at Mount Timpanogos. Mark immediately packed his stuff and drove to Kamas. I wish I could have gone, but next week is the last week of school and I am not able to take off work. I didn't know RJ very well, but I know he was a great guy with a good sense of humor and always put a smile on everyone's faces.

There are some pros to living the temporary life of a bachelorette: cereal for every meal, sleeping in the center of the bed, fewer dishes, no one knows if I showered or not.... gross! That last one was totally a joke. I could only think of three pros, and I could think of three million cons; the most important being that I get super creeped out at night! I can't wait for my husband to come home!
I went hiking in Snow Canyon this morning. I'm going to miss being so close to the red rocks and such fun hiking when we move, but it will be nice to be back to the mountains and lakes! Once we're moved in and unpacked my first plan is to go camping!
I decided to take advantage of the single life with extra time at the gym, laying by the pool, and of course some shopping! WHO KNEW THERE WERE SUCH CUTE CLOTHES AT THE D.I.? I wish someone would have told me! As cute and cheap as the clothes were I'm still debating if clothes from the D.I. are cheap, cool, and chic... or cheap, yucky and gross. I figure if they wash it, I wash it, and then I wash it again, I will eliminate any risk of cooties.
I was also lured into Old Navy by their ads for $1.00 flip flops (I'm all about bargains lately), and they didn't even have any! Instead of spending $1.00 I spent $60.00 and came away with some super cute pants for work. Stupid trick ads.
After hiking and laying by the pool I'm feeling a bit crispy from all the sun. But don't worry about me, I will be recovering while watching the FOUR HOUR LOST FINALE tomorrow! Don't call between 6:00 and 10:00 because I will not be available.

The ad was not wrong. The flip flops were selling for a $1. You probably just didn't get there soon enough. There were still flip flops there until 5 that night and they were still on sale for a $1.
Thank you oh anonymous wise one for the correction.
